FIOLAX® and BORO-8330™ are pharmaceutical Type I glass tubing ideally suited for pharmaceutical packaging. These materials offer high resistance to chemicals, temperature and pressure combined with excellent cosmetic and dimensional quality. All quality aspects are tailored to specific container formats such as syringes, vials, ampoules, and cartridges. The tubing undergoes 100% structural inspection through SCHOTT's perfeXion® system for dimension and surface flaws. Available in clear, amber, and BORO-8330™ variants with robust hydrolytic resistance, excellent Extractables & Leachables (E&L) profiles, low coefficient of expansion for high temperature resistance, and impressive thermal shock resistance. All glass types meet pharmaceutical requirements for GMP Guidelines manufacturing. Optional customizations include anti-scratch coating, DENSOCAN® and DENSOPACK® protection systems.
