SCHOTT PURAVIS® Glass Optical Fibers for Endoscopes

Glass optical fibers designed for fiber-based endoscopes used in surgical diagnostics and therapies. SCHOTT PURAVIS® fibers support classic white-light endoscopy in the visible wavelength range (400-780 nm) as well as specialized applications including photodynamic diagnostics at 405 nm and fluorescence diagnostics at around 800 nm. The fibers are engineered for optimal light path design, space-constrained applications, and long-term autoclavability (withstanding up to 138°C and thousands of autoclave cycles). Can be fused together at proximal and/or distal ends to create homogeneous, densely-packed fiber bundles with superior light output.
