Due to the specific shape, a 180° rotation of the instrument allows four luxation movements, two in mesial and two in distal direction. During the luxation process, 5-7 hypomochlies (rotation and support movements) are performed, which makes it clearly superior to conventional levers. The serrated edge of the instrument further promotes dislocation. Axial levering stress on the instrument tips can lead to fracture. The Pivot-Point instruments are not suitable for axial levering use. Non-compliance with the instructions for use can lead to breakage. We cannot accept any liability for such damage!
