The TiN-Periolux are designed to be easily inserted along the root surface and cut the periodontal ligament prior to extraction (Attention: no levering). They feature a long, slender profile and sharp blades, which will minimize tissue trauma and preserve alveolar bone.The Periolux #4ST is straight and has a working part width of 4.0 mm. It features the devemed F-LINE PEAR HANDLE design. It is 165 mm long.The TiN coating improves gliding in the periodontal gap due to its lower coefficient of friction and improves the durability of the blades. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that careful handling is essential to maintain the instruments as well as the coating.
