This Barraquer micro needle holder is equipped with carbide inserts (TC inserts) to ensure both a long service life and a secure grip of the needle. The built-in ratchet allows the needle to be fixed in the mouth of the instrument without having to apply permanent force. The possibility of using suture material between 5-0 and 8-0 makes this needle holder particularly suitable for parosurgery. With a jaw thickness of 0.8 mm, this model is in the mid-range of this series. With its 171 mm, the micro needle holder fits perfectly into our washtray system and allows work in the area up to the molars and retromolar. The straight shape enables uniform gripping of the needle from both sides without having to turn the needle holder. The "pivot-curved" closure prevents the suture material from catching or tearing during the suturing process. This ensures smooth gliding in the area of the end where the two halves of the needle holder are joined together. This needle holder comes in the elegant and weight-balanced F-LINE ROUND SOLID design.
