They are particularly suitable for processing denture bases, plastic superstructures and splint materials prior to fine or high-gloss polishing. The narrow horsehair brush is mounted on a mandrel and clamped into a hand-held or table-mounted motor with a suitable clamping system. At a recommended speed of 2,800 rpm, the plastic surface is treated with even, light pressure to remove sanding marks and roughness.
