304 VAR Stainless Steel orthodontic archwire with ideal tensile strength, diamond drawn and laser marked with midline. All Acti4S archwires are manufactured from 304VAR material (Vacuum Arc Remelted stainless steel) which yields more uniform chemistry with minimal voids and contaminants, reducing chances of brittleness. True square or rectangular wire in cross section with minimum corner radii. All wires are tested for required tensile strength before and after the archwire forming process with strict inspection requirements for torque and arch form. Manufactured with tight tolerances using continuous laser measuring equipment and subjected to various bend testing to verify proper ductility.
