Physiotherapeutic training device for CMD complaints. The RehaBite is a physiotherapeutic training device for the therapy of jaw joint and chewing muscle complaints. Through targeted coordinative exercises, pain reduction in muscular myoarthropathies of the masticatory system (MAP) can be achieved. The training device consists of a liquid-filled elastic bite fork with integrated force control. The hydrostatic system balances right and left jaw musculature under force-controlled conditions, correcting dysbalances. Regular repetition of exercises leads to lasting changes in muscular function patterns and structural changes in specific brain regions (muscle memory). Indications: therapy of pain from muscular myoarthropathies (MAP), prevention of recurring painful MAP (recurrence prophylaxis), therapy of jaw muscle dysbalances, coordinative jaw muscle training.
