Propylen is a synthetic monofilament non-absorbable sterile surgical suture made from an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene. The suture is available in a wide variety of length – diameter combinations attached to high quality medical grade stainless steel of different sizes and types. Propylen meets all requirements established by the European Pharmacopoeia for sterile non-absorbable sutures and with the essential requirements of the directive 93/42/EEC.
