OstiumMAX Shape is an osteoconductive biomaterial composed of highly purified bovine-derived hydroxyapatite, combined with a semi-synthetic cellulose-based polymer that acts as a cohesive and forming agent. This combination provides a moldable and stable consistency, facilitating handling and adaptation to different bone defect morphologies. Its three-dimensional network of interconnected pores promotes cell migration, neovascularization and new bone tissue formation, contributing to effective and predictable regeneration.
