Chairside polishing of zirconium oxide. Diamond-impregnated TWIST polishers as two-stage systems for zirconium ensure optimal polishing at all times due to their special design. The highly flexible diamond-impregnated polishing lamellae adapt excellently to the polishing field even on uneven chewing surfaces, in tight interdental spaces or on larger smooth surfaces. A 360° polish (approximal, lateral, occlusal) of a fully anatomical restoration can be completely achieved with the TWIST polishers. The final high gloss achieved corresponds to a glaze firing and thus replaces this additional firing process, saving time and money. Corrections on already fitted restorations can be easily polished, avoiding weakening of the zirconium/ceramic restoration structure.
