Blumenthal Bone Rongeur is a specialized surgical tool used for cutting and nipping away bone pieces and other hard tissues, in order to broaden pre-formed holes or sculpt delicate bones. The Blumenthal rongeur features a double-spring plier style handle with horizontal ridges. The double spring mechanism ensures smooth jaw opening and closing. Ergonomic plier style handle ensures maximum control. This Blumenthal Bone Rongeur has curved jaws, angled at 30°. Bone Rongeurs are strongly construct instruments with a sharp-edged, scoop-shaped tips. They are used for gouging out bone.
