Aluminum Oxide Tan Abrasive, 10 lbs.

Unlike competitive oxides manufactured from reprocessed materials, Sterngold starts with virgin Grade A aluminum oxide. It is electrically fused, finished to a 50 micron size powder, and then further refined to produce a clean, white oxide of 99.6% purity. Our less expensive tan oxide is manufactured to a slightly lesser purity; 96.6% with trace amounts of iron. Our technical department has never found a significant difference in its performance when compared to our white oxide.
