The Barraquer micro needle holder with a 0.8 mm wide jaw represents the medium jaw width from this series. The ratchet is suitable for optimally fixing the needle in the working end and preventing the needle from twisting. This micro needle holder is therefore very suitable for periodontal surgery. Its straight shape allows the needle to be held in the same position without rotating the needle holder. The pivot-curved closure prevents the suture material from catching and tearing off the instrument and enables smooth gliding along the end that connects the two halves of the needle holder. The F-LINE ROUND SOLID handle not only looks good, but also gives the instrument a good balance in the hand. The fine micro needle holder is recommended for thread sizes 5-0 to 8-0. The carbide inserts (TC inserts) give the instrument durability and a good grip on the needle.
