CI TIP ist eine Ultraschallspitze für das passive Ultraschallspülprotokoll (PUI). Sie wird zur Spülung mittels Ultraschall in Kombination mit Natriumhypochlorit (NaOCl), Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure (EDTA) u. a. verwendet. Ultraschall verbessert den Spüleffekt durch Erzeugung von Kavitation und akustischem Streaming.
